On a cold November Saturday morning a small group of volunteers together with Ian and Jane from the Parks Services department of Leicester City Council came out to St Peter’s to plant crocuses in the Churchyard and in Church Field. This will bring some more colour into Braunstone’s conservation area, so wait for the Spring!
Bulb planting is currently taking place across the whole city as part of the Parks services campaign to plant a flower for every citizen of Leicester, (that’s 280,000 plants!) to brighten up our parks and green spaces
