..for five people was when they were confirmed as members of Christ’s church on Sunday, November 24th. Three were from St Peter’s, two from St James the Great. We were priviledged to have Bishop Christopher Boyle, Assistant Diocesan Bishop, to lead the service, as St Peter’s welcomed friends from St James.

All five had come along a journey into faith, and Gillian shared with us something of her experience that brought her to this time of commitment to Christ.

Then the Bishop led us to that special moment when he received them as part of Christ’s body, confirming them as members of the Church universal.

The remainder of the congregation welcomed the five into the family of God, and prayed for them and with them.
