We finished an audit of our parish in February 2005, using the 2001 census and information collected on a series of parish walks. You can download it but the pdf is over 8MB so it will take a very long time if you only have a dial-up modem connection. In Braunstone there’s a real community spirit: people are missed, and the church is at the heart with funerals.

In Braunstone our wealth is in the greenery: the green spaces we have.

Braunstone is NOT a poor estate: if you’re in trouble, someone will help. We’re friendly neighbours, and talk to each other over our garden fences.

Braunstone people are seen as rough, but they’re rough diamonds.
