Visit to Goadby Marwood

The village church at Goadby Marwood have invited St Peter’s to spend a day in the country. Our hosts are providing a big bus to get us there so we can take friends and family. Beverley Stark, who’s the vicar of Goadby Marwood (part of the Ironstone Villages) is our link person and she says we’ll be treated to a visit to a farm, followed by high tea. For some people it’s an opportunity to see cows and pigs close up for the first time! Children will need written permission from parents or carers. We’re planning a Songs of Praise-type service to wrap up the day and we’re praying for fine weather! Before we set off we’ll have a quick lunch together in the St Peter’s Millennium Hall so that we can make the most of the day.
