This service re-enacts the triumphant ride of Jesus into Jerusalem, to be cheered on by the crowds as their king. We carry palm crosses in the procession from the Hall into church, as we sing his praises.
But the mood quickly changes. The service is also the introduction to Holy Week, and the gospel reading is the whole story of Christ’s suffering and death on the cross.

St. Peter's church, Braunstone Park
St Peter's is a Church of England Parish Church, and you are very welcome to join us for our regular services. We meet together for a communion service on Sunday mornings at 10am, and a more traditional service on Wednesday at 9.30am. We also meet for morning prayer at 9am Monday to Wednesday.
